Following the government’s announcement regarding large gatherings, this year it will not be possible for you to come and stomp on the warm sand of the most beautiful beach of Cannes.
It is therefore officially that we announce the postponement of the festival Les Plages Electroniques to 6,7,8 August 2021. You will be able, at your choice, to have your ticket reimbursed, to keep it for next year or even to support the festival with a donation.
If this news is not really a surprise, it is obvious that the time is now for everyone’s mindfulness and responsibility in the face of this unprecedented situation. So for now, we have to put away our swimsuits, glitters and inflatable animals so that we can celebrate the music as soon as possible and at last feel the joy of coming together!
Our thoughts go first and foremost to you Plagiste, who give us the strength each year to surpass ourselves to offer you intense and unforgettable moments. But we also have in our minds a team made up of workers, partners, providers, artists who in addition to living difficult times will be sad like us for not being able to communicate with their beloved Plagistes this summer.
Our final thought for the whole associative, cultural and event sector with which we are in solidarity and of course the doctors and workers, teams of the city of Cannes as well as the Palais des Festivals for their hard work and flawless determination in the management of this crisis.
We are already looking forward to seeing you soon and we are already working day and night to re-invent ourselves, surprise you and celebrate together.
See you soon Plagistes!
Obviously, we won’t leave you alone:
