With its remarkable assets, the French Riviera, with nearly 10.3 million tourists per year, is France’s leading tourist destination after Paris. The Festival Les Plages Électroniques takes place in the idyllic setting of the Croisette beach in the heart of Cannes. The illustrious city of Cannes, the jewel of the Côte d’Azur, never disappoints visitors. It lives up to its reputation: chic, brilliant, magnificent in the image of its festivals and major events (the Film Festival). But it can also surprise everyone by the simple and authentic character of its districts (Le Suquet) and lively markets, pleasure craft docks, always in effervescence. The sandy beaches and establishments of the famous Croisette face one of the most beautiful natural and heritage sites on the Côte d’Azur: the islands of Lérins.
Mandelieu-La Napoule and Théoule-sur-Mer on the Bay of Cannes are ideal holiday destinations and full of resources for activities. We will appreciate the charm and elegance of Mougins, and the Vieux Cannet, the birthplace of the artist Bonnard.
